Information Architect - Houston, TX

As requested for IA resource:


The IA should be able to do the following:

·Define usability standards for the application

· Conduct usability testing / primary research on the existing application(s)

·Translate business requirements into wireframes (low or high fidelity) with optimal user experience

· Annotate wireframes with optimal user experience in mind (includes choreography)
· Work closely with visual designers / engineers to implement designs

· Manage project plans for completing wireframes / annotations

· Leverage Adobe Creative Suite tools in the creation of the wireframes (Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, etc); experience with rich media such as Flash/Flex or AJAX and experience with client-side programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are desirable



Preferred capabilities for Adobe Flex work:

· Experience in designing a rich internet application (RIA) with understanding of how a Flex application is structured (object re-usability, and extensibility approaches, etc.)

· Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and present usability options

· Ability to develop and manage execution of usability testing

Must-Have Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to independently research, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, utilities, programming languages
• 4+ years of experience developing solutions in the Windows desktop environment with solid understanding of the Windows architecture, experience with common Windows utilities, experience with multiple Windows scripting tools and languages.
• 4+ years of experience with .NET / C#, Oracle, and XML, XML Schema and XSL
• 4+ years of experience with J2EE and related technologies / tools, including Weblogic, JBoss, and Eclipse 4+ years of experience in application integration using variety of platforms, products, and protocols.
• 4+ years of experience in full life cycle development including requirement analysis, system design, code implementation, unit testing, system integration and production support

Tier 2 Help Desk in Fort Worth, Texas

10 Open Positions Paying $13-$15/hour
6-12 months

The position is responsible for daily application support to users, installing and configuring software and hardware in desktop and notebook computers, documenting procedures, software and hardware and escalating as needed.

• 3-5 years related helpdesk experience with 1-2 years Tier II helpdesk (Subject Matter Experts-SME’s)
• Experience with minor hardware repairs such as: memory upgrades, PCMCIA cards, screen, keyboard and HDD swaps; set-up, management and support of laptop PC's and laptop distribution
• Respond to telephone and email requests from users in a timely manner.
• Operational knowledge of Active Directory
• Working knowledge of LAN and WAN network equipment
• Solid PC experience in Windows NT, XP, Vista and WIN 7 environment; knowledgeable in the basic set up of a PC and proficient in the installation and support of commercial software
• Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office tools: Word, PowerPoint and Excel 2003, 2007
• Awareness of Outlook and Exchange
