This position requires a technical professional specializing in network security, audit, firewalls and security technologies with an ability to manage projects and tasks.

Supporting transition related efforts, demonstrates an understanding of customer’s tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of firewall related changes. Develops and maintains relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to support efforts across multiple business units. This position requires high level of knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall software, Nokia and Crossbeam firewall platforms, experience in troubleshooting layer 2 and 3 routing and switching issues, and an understanding of application protocols. Experience in security and rule base audit using firemon required. A minimum of 5 to 8 years experience as a firewall / security engineer is required. A broad skill set across networking and security technologies is preferred along with ability to manage multiple projects.
